Zakynthos: Shipwreck Beach & Blue Caves Land and Sea Tour

About This Experience
This is the most-booked way to reach Navagio without a hire car: a minibus collects you from your accommodation, covers the island's viewpoints and beaches by road, and folds a boat leg into the middle of the day.
The published itinerary is unusually specific. Bochali viewpoint (10 minutes), a swim at Xigia sulphur beach (30 minutes), a photo stop at Makris Gialos, the shipwreck from the water (30 minutes), a swim in the caves (30 minutes), White Beach (30 minutes), Maravelia Cave (15 minutes), a brief pass at the Poseidon's Face formation, then the Navagio clifftop viewpoint (40 minutes) and the 2,000-year-old olive tree at Exo Chora.
Read the exclusions before you book. The boat ticket is deliberately not in the headline price and is paid in cash on the day: EUR 25 for adults and EUR 15 for children aged 3 to 11, or EUR 50 per person for the semi-private boat. Pickups more than 10 km outside the Zakynthos Town area — Keri, Marathias, Vasilikos, Volimes — carry a further EUR 10 per person each way. Cash is worth carrying: the operator flags unreliable mobile signal for card payments.
The order of stops moves on the day. Wind, sea state and harbour traffic all get it reshuffled, which is the honest reason a full-day land-and-sea tour is less predictable than a straight three-hour boat trip — and also why it copes better when the sea is rough.

What Travelers Say

From start to finish this trip was fantastic. I’m a 35year old mother travelling with an 11 & 7 year old. We all love exploring and adventuring. Tour guide was lovely and the mini bus had air con inside which was great because the trip we booked on before (different company) didn’t and we absolutely fried!

The activity was complete and beautiful. There were 7 of us. Our guide Theo picked us up almost at the hotel, and we weren't in the pickup circle. We visited the viewpoints and had a beautiful boat trip, visiting the highlights (Blue Grotto, wreck, etc.). Our captain Mario was great... There was only one small hitch that wasn't the tour's fault, but I didn't like it. When we were waiting for the boat, there were some boats that were emptying a dinghy, and I was taking a picture of the "angry Greeks." They yelled at me, "Fuck... Put your phone away. Go fuck yourself..." and other not very nice words. Fortunately, the person who was taking us on the boat was not on our tour, but there are tourists who pay and would have gotten on with one of them. Above all, it was a good-natured photo with no particular purpose... They can tell their relatives about it, not us. That said, the rest was fantastic. Thank you, Theo and Mario.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do you actually get at the shipwreck?
The published itinerary allows 30 minutes at the shipwreck from the water, plus 40 minutes at the Navagio clifftop viewpoint later in the day. That combination — the wreck from below and the bay from above — is what a boat-only cruise cannot give you.
Is the boat included in the price?
No. A separate boat ticket is paid in cash on the day — €25 per adult and €15 per child aged 3 to 11 on the group boat, or €50 per person for the semi-private option. Budget for it on top of the booking price.
Is hotel pickup included?
Yes for standard areas. Accommodation more than 10 km outside the main Zakynthos Town area — Keri, Marathias, Vasilikos, Volimes and similar — attracts a €10 per person surcharge each way. Pickup details are sent by email or WhatsApp the day before.
Will the itinerary run in the published order?
Not necessarily. The operator states that the order and timing of land and sea activities may be changed on the day for weather, wind or harbour traffic. Every stop is still covered; the sequence is not guaranteed.
Is it suitable for wheelchair users?
No — the operator lists the tour as not suitable for wheelchair users. It involves a minibus, a boat boarding and a short rocky path at the Navagio viewpoint.
