Zakynthos: Glass-Bottom Boat to Navagio, Caves & White Beach

About This Experience
The lowest-priced Navagio trip on this site, which makes it the practical answer to "what is the cheapest way to see the shipwreck?"
The boat is glass-bottomed, which matters less on this coast than the marketing suggests: the west-coast water is deep and startlingly clear, and the appeal is the cliffs above rather than the seabed below. The route covers the Navagio viewpoint by road, the shipwreck from the water, Maravelia Cave, White Beach and Sfogio, and finishes with a photo stop at the Poseidon's Face formation.
Booking options vary widely in length — anywhere from two to six hours depending on whether you take the boat alone or a combined land-and-sea version, and there are drop-off points across dozens of resorts. Read which option you are actually selecting before you pay: the two-hour version is a boat trip, the six-hour one is a day.
It carries a solid rating across a few hundred reviews rather than a few thousand, so treat it as a good-value option rather than the island's flagship.

Good to Know & Caveats
- The boat trip to Shipwreck Beach and Blue Caves is weather dependent. If the cruise is canceled, the tour is rescheduled or refunded
- The tour’s free pickup radius is up to 13 km from Zakynthos Town, including the following locations: Laganas, Kalamaki, Agios Sostis, Lithakia, Argassi, Xirokastelo, Bochali, Varres, Planos, Tsilivi, Tragaki, Psarou, Ammoudi, Alykanas, Alykes
- For accommodations outside this radius, e.g. Keri, Marathias, Vasilikos, Ag. Nikolaos, Volimes, Xigia, Mikro Nisi, Orthonies, Maries, Anafonitria, Gerakas, Porto Roma, an additional 20€ each way will be charged
- During low season (April and October), we may use a speedboat instead of a glass-bottom boat due to limited bookings; in very cold weather, swim stops may be skipped, resulting in a shorter trip while still visiting all planned locations

Great things to do. The live guide is very nice and cares about your comfort. The scenery is beautiful.

Highly recommended activity. Loud music; it felt like being at a boat party. We were almost all Italians, so we had a lot of fun. The captain is super helpful. He let us spread out on the boat as we wanted without saying anything to us, and he took us into the crystal-clear water so we could dive from the second level of the boat. Everything was great, lots of fun 🔝

Everything was perfect. I can only recommend this program. We chose the 6-hour one; the 8-9-hour one seemed a bit long for my 11-year-old son. But this was great. We grabbed lunch at the hotel, so there was no need to pack food, just drinks. We viewed a shipwreck from above, then headed to the harbor and boarded a boat. There was a shipwreck from below, a 2-hour boat trip, we went swimming twice, and we saw caves. The transportation was also perfect. The boat captain, the driver, everyone was nice.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this really the cheapest way to see Navagio?
It is the lowest starting price we list, at $29. Read which booking option you are selecting though: the cheapest is the short boat-only version, while the six-hour combined land-and-sea option costs more and is a full day out.
Does the glass bottom add much?
Honestly, not on this route. The west-coast water is deep and very clear, but the attraction here is the cliffs, the caves and the coves. Choose this for the price and the itinerary, not for the floor.
Why does the duration range from two to six hours?
Because the listing bundles several booking options — a short boat-only trip and longer combinations with the road viewpoints. Check which one you are selecting at the date-picker stage.
Where does it depart from?
The meeting point depends on the option you book, and drop-offs are offered across a long list of resorts. Confirm your own pickup point in the booking confirmation.
